Youth ministry at First Baptist Church is dedicated not only to introducing students to Jesus Christ but also to discipling those students to grow in their faith and become mature followers of Jesus Christ.  To help in that, we offer a small group Bible study each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM.  In addition, there is a youth worship service each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM built around the school schedule and addressing a variety of relevant topics. But we want students to be “doers of the Word” and involved in practical ministry as well so we typically do a major mission trip each Summer that challenges students to grow beyond their comfort zone in helping others and in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Other ministry and service projects during the year give ample opportunities for spiritual growth.  We realize the great challenge young people face in this culture so we want to partner with parents to equip their students with a vibrant and sound Christian faith.
