What We Believe

 

 

 

WHAT WE BELIEVE. . .

 

  • About the Bible:  We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is without error.  As such, the Bible is our sole authority of faith and practice.  For this reason, we emphasize Bible-based preaching and teaching.  

 

  • About salvation:  We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace to all who will repent of sin and place their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Salvation cannot be earned through works. 

 

  • About baptism:  We believe that every born-again believer should be baptized by immersion as commanded in the Scriptures.  We reject any teaching which proposes baptism as a means of salvation. 

 

  • About eternal security:  We believe that once a person is born again their salvation is forever secure.  Those who have been genuinely born again by the Spirit of God are forever preserved by the Spirit.
